Costs

Cost

Texas IR procedures are performed in a physician office-based lab where the costs are significantly lower for patients compared to a hospital outpatient department.  Patients also benefit from cost savings through quicker recoveries and return to work times compared to surgery for some conditions.

The out-of-pocket expense for these procedures is determined by the insurance plan.  The patient is responsible to pay the insurance deductible before the insurance company pays a certain percentage of the procedure, usually ranging from 80%-100% of the cost.

Once a patient has undergone a consultation, they will meet with a member of our staff to let them know what their out-of-pocket expense will be.  If the amount is difficult to afford all at once, a payment plan can be arranged.  This would require an upfront payment of a portion of this amount with the rest of the payment broken up into zero-interest payments spread out over 6-12 months.
